Anti Discrimination

Waypoint Montessori School (“Waypoint” or the “School”) does not discriminate in the administration of its admissions and educational policies, financial aid programs, or athlectoc or other school-administered programs, or employment practices on the basis of race,color, national origin, citizenship, creed, ancestry, gener, age, sex, pregnancy, marital staus, Sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, disability, veteran’s status or any other category protected by state and/or federal laws.

Paycheck Protection Program

Waypoint has received a loan pursuant to the Paycheck Protection program (“PPP”) administered by the Small Business Administration (“SBA”). All schools receiving SBA financial assistance must agree not to discriminate in any business practice, including employment practices and services to the public on the basis of categories cited in 13 C.F.R., parts 112, 113 and 117 of SBA Regulations. Accordingly, until the PPP loan is paid or forgiven, Waypoint’s policy above will be understood to demonstrate good faith compliance with the regulations issued by the SBA and by other Governmental agencies that apply to the School because it received federal financial assistance.

The Compliance Officer shall be responsible for coordinating the School’s efforts to meet its responsibilities under this policy. The Compliance Officer will receive and investigate any complaints filed under this policy and make recommendations to the Board of Trustees for the prompt and equitable resolution of complaints. The School will provide its Compliance Officer and staff appropriate training on this policy and their obligations hereunder.
